Will it fit my shower?

Yes — in about 95% of US showers. CROWNE connects to any standard ½" threaded shower arm (the same fitting almost every wall-mounted and handheld shower uses). It comes with an adapter and Teflon tape so you get a leak-free seal on the first try. If you have an unusual European or industrial fitting, email us and we'll confirm before you buy.

How does the filtration actually work?

Water passes through a multi-stage cartridge that reduces chlorine, rust, sand, sediment and other impurities common in municipal water — the residues that dull color-treated hair and dry out skin and scalp. It improves water quality; it is not a drinking-water purifier and does not soften water in the whole-home sense.

When will I see results?

Most people notice softer water and stronger pressure on day one. Hair and scalp changes — less dryness, less buildup, more shine — typically build over 2–4 weeks of daily use as your hair recovers from hard-water exposure. Results vary by person, water quality, and hair type.

How often do I replace the filter?

Every ~3 months for best performance (sooner if your water is especially hard). Replacement cartridges are available on our store. See How to Replace Filters.

How long does shipping take?
